Greetings from the President

Since its founding in 1905 (Meiji 38), Rinko Corporation has progressed along with the development of Niigata Port. We have supported international logistics and local communities with our Rinko Wharf in Niigata West Port, Japan’s only privately owned port and by building the largest warehouse for dangerous goods on the Sea of Japan side of mainland Japan and a large general warehouse in Niigata East Port. Currently, we boast the top share of cargo handling volume at Niigata Port.

With the acceleration of economic development, economic partnerships, and free trade in Asia such as in China and Southeast Asia, international logistics is expanding, and the importance of marine transportation is increasing. Utilizing our extensive experience and high level of expertise in port operations, we are working to build a greater, more efficient and safer logistics network, and will continue to lead logistics at Niigata Port. Simultaneously, we will contribute to developing the local communities by developing a wide range of businesses that have derived from our port business in cooperation with related companies: real estate, machine sales, commercial affairs, environmental business, and hotel management.

We will continue to provide the best services as a corporate group that everyone trusts based on our corporate philosophy of valuing the hearts of our customers, looking into the future, and working to create a new society and a rich human environment.
