Management policy
As we celebrate our 120th anniversary in May 2025, we have established a new purpose for the Rinko Group : “Supporting the present and developing the future from the port”. This is our company’s origin, and it embodies our desire to boldly take on challenges in order to support people’s lives and carve out a bright future from the “port” with which we have lived together for many years.
Based on this purpose, we have recently formulated a medium-term management plan (FY2024 to FY2026). The plan focuses on “stabilizing and improving the revenue base of the transportation sector,” “Improve profitability and efficiency by leveraging the strengths of your own assets and human resources” and “Implementation of human capital strategies that enable business continuity” I’ll work on it.
－Main policies of the medium-term management plan (FY2024-FY2026)－
(1) Stabilizing and improving the revenue base of the transportation sector
・Acquire cargo related to renewable energy and increase main cargo
・Strengthening logistics services that take advantage of the convenience of local ports and reduce environmental impact
(2) Improve profitability and efficiency by leveraging the strengths of your own assets and human resources
・Increase each segment’s profit and asset efficiency (ROA) by leveraging the characteristics of each segment’s assets
・Further reduce cross-shareholdings and streamline total assets
(3) Implementation of human capital strategies that enable business continuity
・Promoting initiatives to increase employee job satisfaction

We pursue the maximization of corporate value and shareholder returns over the medium to long term in order to continue to be supported as a valued company by all our shareholders. We also recognize the importance of fulfilling our social responsibilities and achieving sustainable growth and development. To achieve these, we strive to strengthen corporate governance and improve the necessary transparency, fairness, and swiftness of management.
